I had the pleasure of working with Steve when we were taking UK Tram through the changes to the Constitution and delivering the responses to the Audit Office report and Subsequent Green Paper 'Green Light For Light Rail' We had some really good sessions and despite the fact that Steve was covering a wide remit he never failed to deliver on his commitments albeit sometimes very close to the wire. He was a joy to be with and our industry has lost a true friend. Our thoughts go out to his family at this sad time. Colin Robey
