Such sad news, Steve was a great guy, really genuine with a cracking sense of humour. He was also fantastic professional, incredibly knowledgeable and always pushing the sector on - to say he really made a difference would be an understatement. His reputation wasn't just limited to the UK either, as it seems half the highways practitioners around the world knew him too! I have good memories, and he will be greatly missed by many - thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends and colleagues.
