I first worked with Steve in DfT in 2013. What an inspirational colleague he was - his charisma and leadership skills were just brilliant and he got the best out of me and everyone else when it was needed. And I always remember his kind words of thanks for a job well done. My thoughts and condolences are with his friends and family. Darren
